Simply put, it tastes better! Coffee beans grown at higher altitudes produces a more acidic, aromatic and flavorful cup of coffee. Lower altitudes tend to have lower acidity with little character. In our case, the rich volcanic soil coupled with plentiful rainfall and sunshine provides excellent growing conditions at an altitude of 5200 feet.
Yes -- we are Certified Organic under ACO, Australia's leading organic certifier. To become Certified Organic is costly and time-intensive but we can proudly display the ACO Certified Organic logo on our bag and give you the reassurance that the coffee you are consuming is Certified Organic.
